THE ALTAR

WHO WE ARE

We are small group of college age believers who need Jesus. The Altar is geared specifically for those under the age of thirty in our church who want to fellowship, build friendships and be built up through the teaching of God’s Word and the Worship of His Name. We believe The Word of God is infallible and that every word in scripture is absolutely for us even though parts may not have been written directly to us. Jesus said in Luke 4:4, “…It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”   - It is by His Word that we have life. So we seek Him through His Word & study it. As of recently, The Altar meets Sunday evenings in a home-study format in Oceanside at 7:00 PM and is led by Pastor Jason Duff. This family-like setting and conversational study has been such a benefit for our group as it has fostered an atmosphere of intimate fellowship. Partner with us in this new season of The Altar as we seek the Lord in reaching our generation with the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We would love to see you there!
